Innovative product upgrade: senosan® AM1800TopMatt MET 7591 and 85688

Innovative product upgrade and market launch
From December 2023, our proven senosan® AM1800TopMatt MET product is being upgraded with innovative anti-fingerprint properties.

Colours of the upgraded version
Two elegant shades from the 2023 collection: beige met. 7591 and grey met. 85688, plus the new Liquid Metal grey met. 85848. We do not recommend combining the original and the upgraded version.

New colour: Liquid Metal 85848
The name stands for a metallic, reflective quality, and the surface looks remarkably like liquid metal. This modern shade gives your projects a contemporary aesthetic and a distinctive character that makes them stand out from the crowd.
senosan® is more resistant to scratches and chemicals, environmentally friendly and economical at the same time — a reliable basis for your unique, long-lasting interiors.
With its unmistakable surface and depth effect, senosan® material offers an outstanding gloss effect, combined with high scratch and UV resistance, and it is kinder to the environment.
Alongside the trend-setting high-gloss products used mainly in kitchens, more and more customers are now asking for matt surfaces as well. Senosan anticipated this market development and is able to produce high-quality matt surfaces in sixteen colours.

We are pioneers in environmental care
Senoplast was one of the first companies to champion environmental protection. Senoplast is also a pioneer of the EMAS scheme (Eco-Management and Audit Scheme), a voluntary EU instrument that helps companies continuously improve their environmental performance.
We are aware of our responsibility towards people and the environment, which is why we have introduced comprehensive corporate environmental measures — from energy efficiency through eco-friendly mobility and environmental certification to resource conservation.
Recovering waste heat has cut CO₂ emissions
We use the waste heat from production to heat the plant (approx. 50%) and draw on biomass district heating — saving emissions for the environment. This adds up to 966 t CO₂ per year. Recovered waste heat also supplies local heating for the municipality of Piesendorf.
Low CO₂ footprint
Producing 1 kg of senosan® at the Piesendorf plant releases 5.7 g CO₂ of emissions. For comparison: an economical mid-range car produces 120 g CO₂/km.
100% renewable energy
All the electricity we use comes from renewable energy sources.
Further measures
- Coordinating heating energy and heat recovery
- Company buses for employees
- Encouraging employees to use public transport
- Strict waste separation throughout production
- General waste prevention (bottled PET water replaced by tap water)
